Brrrrr! Seriously, allyuh NYC is blistering cold. Anyway, Thursday night we found ourselves at BLVD downtown money making Manhattan for Jam with Squeeze 'The Party'. The first of a weekly session from the peeps at Jamrock Magazine. The legendary Chuck Fenda was scheduled to perform and we just love us some old school so we were front and center early o’clock. Around 11pm actually.

The vibe was rhel stale though. Maybe it was because we got there so early. The music was on point though. My gosh, it was a jam session. DJ’s Steelie Bashment and Kevin Crown kept today’s reggae hits and classics coming. Before long the place was kinda ram, but still, the vibe just never caught on. Hmmmm ... it was quite odd indeed. Here it is the crowd almost ram, chunes rhelll sweet, but no vibe? Go figure. The only folks I saw having a time were Jeanille of BET (formerly of Tempo), who was celebrating her birthday, and her crew. Go shawty it’s ya birthday! They were live! Her crew kept getting bigger throughout the night too. Now that’s how you do it! smile

Next ting we know, It’s 2 o’clock and no Chuck. Huh? I well say de man woulda come on bout 1-ish. Well we decided to roll out and call it a night. It seems we missed Shaggy and Foxy Brown. Oh well it’s all good. TJJ always catches up with the Shags man.

Squeeze we’ll see y’all after 2K wine, oui!
