Sunday 22nd March marked the preliminary competition which kicked off around 5 o'clock. Now folks, ya girl got there after the competition itself, but arrived early for the excellent after party session. $25 got ya in the door and some decent happy hours followed; Absolut for $3 ... niceness!!! This
event may just have kicked off the summer for us here in Bim. The entertainment
was definitely on: NRG Sounds, BoomTribe, Fusion Squad and
Bubbles & Stan. These guys had the girls going and had some serious
bashment sessions. These sessions pretty much took up the entire night as these
DJs played some nice old dub, the newest dancehall tracks and not to mention de
TnT 2009 Soca. The Bajan girls were out in true form, and had the guys' necks
hurting! My chicks were dressed down ultra sexy, maybe even giving the Island
Queen contestants some extra competition. Don't think these hot outfits stopped
the girls from getting down though. I saw some guys literally speechless and motionless
engrossed in some girl on girl wining! As the week was pretty quiet in Bim, I really didn't expect to have such a good party to end off the weekend. So Jungle Juicers, Island Queen "King's Court" ... decent party, cool vibes. Please accept my apologies for not getting pictures of the sexy Island Queen girlies, will definitely make it up to you guys the second (or 3rd) time around!
