Rasta's represent @ Zen It's
Saturday night, and TJJ on the go as we head to the world famous Zen nightclub
to check out Gentlemen and the Far East band. Just
to give a brief history, Tilmann Otto a.k.a. Gentleman, born in Germany,
started his career as a DJ and later decided to take a different step into the
reggae industry. It
was an early show with doors opening around 9pm, allowing patrons to partake in
the premium inclusive bar. Gentlemen
hit the stage at 10pm kicking off their set with one of their biggest hit songs
"Intoxication". They then heated things up doing a few different
duets, one which included changing up the performance with the lead singer (Tilmann)
switching places with the drummer. Tune
after tune (lots which we weren't familiar with), the true Gentlemen and the
Far East fans were loving every minute of it. Some included, "Soul
Food", "Serenity", "Send A Prayer"
and "On We Go". Then to our amazement, one of the band members
left his instrument, took off his T-shirt and began snapping pics of the crowd.
Multi-talented, I guess.

| The
performance lasted about an hour and the Zen crowd appeared musically satisfied.
Big up all the white rasta's in the crowd. After the band's last song, we made
our way backstage for some exclusive business. The
party started all over again, as 4 Play took up the slack and continued
a conscious session before getting into the soca. TJJ then did what we do best
.... check for the swanky folks, took some pics and buss a small wine here and
there!! Signing
out, D' Young Juice |
