This is Orlando Island Boys 9th Annual All Inclusive held every year @ De Backyard. Island Boys team consist of five people, in addition to two men who work public relations. These men are constantly giving back to their communities. Couple of facts to know about them:

1. They are a non-profit organization (meaning no profit for personal gain - how lovely and rare! smile)
2. The proceeds are mainly distributed to three main organizations:
a. UCF Caribbean Students
b. Anthony House Homeless Shelter
c. Leukemia Society

Island Boys assist other various organizations with sponsorships, donations, and contributions. Yuh know, I don't know many promoters who are non-profit that help the youth to succeed that give back all monies to charities. Lastly, another known fact .... they promote de Parang Fete held every year @ the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, which features your favorite parang artists (Scrunter, Crazy, Baron etc.) from Trinidad.

Strolling through the diverse food tents, the aroma of Chinese, Indian, Creole, American and Appola has meh craving as I see the crowd scrumptiously feasting on these delicious flavors of the world.

On the drink's tip featured is a Beer Bar, Full Bar and Tiki Bar. Sponsored by "Legacy Liquor" in Orlando. De sexy Jamie Foxx says, Blame it on Grey Goose has de ladies feeling loose. Blame it on Patron had de fellows in a zone. So blame it on de al....Co...hol. smile Ladies wining on dey men. Fellas palpating on dey ladies. This is a feel good fete. No one should be standing alone with these groovy feelings in de air!!

Island Boys had Powerline Sounds HD scorching de tracks, while they were giving shirts away. De people were sweltering and heating up de pavements. Ms. Nadia Baston took de stage with full fire singing "My Posse" and "My Land". She makes men love dey "Caribbean Girl". She was unifying all Islands with "One Island" as partygoers sang along. Speaking of unity... people traveled on buses and cars from Ocala, South Bay and Miami to fete with de Island Boys. In addition, great performances by Crossovah ("Test D Foundation"), Dance Crew and Lennox Piccou.

I was able to catch up with Nadia Baston and ask her a few questions.....
Q. How are you doing?
A. Lovely!
Q. Do you have a new album debuting this year?
A. Yes, in September.
Q. Any preparations for Carnival since only nine months away?
A. Yes. I have a band and creative ideas are in planning.

Well ........ there you have it Nadia fans. Stay tuned and lookout for the her album in September. UM!!!!!! Thinkin' .... and I "Caan Wait" fuh Labor Day in New York!

Island Boys awarded a member of the Dance Crew $1,000 dollar scholarship to UCF. Congratulations on your education. Now, this gives meaning to fete and lime for a good cause!! Now that is how WE LIKE IT!!

Island Boys, thanks for your graciousness and kindness.
