Happy Anniversary BPF!

It's been five years of Big Phat Fish events and we at TJJ have been there from the beginning, so we couldn’t miss this special event ... and yuh know, we don’t walk with our hands swinging.. we must bring a present!

The traditional gift for the 5th Anniversary is wood. Hummm, "What kinda wooden gift we could get?" Then it hit us, wood comes from trees, and paper comes from trees and money is made from paper ... voila CASH!!! So we stepped up to the bar and spent some cash!!

For most of the 5 years we have known BPF to be hosted Big Fish, but for 2009 they have moved to a new home at 94th Aero Squadron, one of our favorite spots in South Florida ... a true mix of Indoor/Outdoor venue.

As we pulled in, we could see that the front parking lot was full, so knew we were looking at a full house - always a good thing! After being greeted by the always smiling Miss Evans at the entrance, we made our way into the dance. Admittedly we have not been to BPF recently, but walking in we saw some familiar faces and we felt right at home, like we had never left.

DJ Private Ryan & Selecta AJ were on the set and the dance floor was filled to capacity. Its only then we realized that it was an "All White" dress code!! Oopsy... but we weren’t the only ones, so we blended in still. It was a nice mixed crowd, and everyone was having a good time at the new venue just like normal. One thing that was not normal for South Florida was the party didn’t abruptly end at 4AM because there are no neighbors to complain about noise. It was true Big Phat Fish stylee ... "Party till ah Morning!!"
