Date: Thursday 26th March 2009 Location: Sequoia @ Ruby Lo. 23 Orchard Street. London Promotions: Babash Events Click on thumbnails to see the big picture/entire gallery The tabanca for Trinidad Carnival 2009 is still hurting us ... it's still in our minds ... we want more! We want to wine more, more soca, more vibes, more Caribbean women rollin' their waistlines to the music and the pure lust and vibrations of a Caribbean event ... so guess what? Few phone calls have to be made .... where we going? What we doing? Ah, a *sigh* of relief - Babash Fisherman's Lime. Bang Bang!! We heading to Ruby Lo in the heart of London on the highest of high streets. We going to wine & grind and fix the tabanca (again)!! Vendetta Sound, as always, supplying the pure music and the rest came from All Mighty Sound. What more can we ask ... other than where the drinks? Where the 10 Cane Rum? Where the Rockstar to chase down the alcohol to make us wine up we waist? We want to be moving like "the floor, the floor, the floor is on fire, we doh need no water let it burn, let it burn!!!!" (Machel Montano, Lil Jon & Pitbull - "Fire On The Floor") The tunes ran nonstop for the night - strictly soca - strictly hand in the air like "Jumbie" hit we, "Dead or Alive" we wining, "Jepp Sting" in the party ... who wasn't "Tusty" or even "Ready" ready ready ready ready ready ready ready (please say stop ... because we really do not know how many times the word ready was said) .... but is all good!!
The Corner Shop supplied the food and we were very hungry after the long hard day's work we put on. So with rice and peas in our belly mix up with chicken or fish, what more can we ask for? Babash ... the people keep singing Babash ... what more can we ask for!!!! Ah small competition ran for the night for the best fisherman's hat - and it went to the lovely camera lady. She had some moves too on the floor ... who say you cyah wine and take ah two picture??!! Hahahaha. Another after work lime supplied by the Babash Events crew and crew, another Thursday gone in 2009 and Babash promises a wonderful 2009 for us folks. So B2K9 as they say, TJJ will be ready and waiting. Last train ah calling us ... Amiel for the TJJ
