Decatur, GA Promotions: JT and Associates Click on thumbnails to see the big picture/entire gallery Nats from the Stray Dawg Krew told us that where she stayed in Atlanta during the the Memorial Day Weekend Carnival celebrations was cool. BUT, there was only one problem ... which turned into a bigger problem on Sunday night .... there weren't any full body mirrors in the house!! So I asked with my fast self, "Why do you need a full body mirror when there's a mirror in the bathroom?" Well just imagine the look I got!! "Well sir .... it is the Wear White fete yuh know!! I have to look on point tonight! Yuh feel I going there with any old thing on??!! I have five outfits to try on and I need to see how I look ... and furthermore...." Well, I had to jump in quick and stall that conversation as it might have been an all nighter. *LOL*" "I get it, I get it .... sorry I asked." And so, my girl was off to Walmart to buy her a full body mirror!! For the past three years, since TJJ covering Atlanta Carnival in full effect, the feedback for the Annual Wear White Fete has been nothing but positive. JT and Associates found their niche in 1999 and have been able to capitalize on the concept of wearing all white to a party on the Sunday of the Memorial Day Weekend, a day with not too many events taking place (following the already hectic few days).
After a full day of events on the Carnival Saturday, on Sunday night, feters in town are always looking for the best place to go. And Wear White is, and has been the best bet. For the last two years, the Golden Glide Roller Skating Rink has been home to this fete. DJ Tony Tempo, one of the top DJ's in Atlanta, didn't give fete-goers much time to breathe as music was flowing like water from the get go. To compliment the evening, there was a large bar with serious drinks (all kind of concoctions) for the people, enough room for air to circulate in the venue so people could show off their dancing skills and nuff parking outside (always a good thing). In
this sizable venue, it might be a good idea to have an adjustable barrier on one
end of the floor. And as the numbers for the night grows, the barrier could be
moved to suit. This would keep partygoers more compact, adding more vibes. Yes,
we love ah jam session! Everyone
was all decked off in white, with some of the most beautiful ladies wearing the
sexiest white outfits!! I guess Nats knew what she was talkin' bout needing that

But yuh know what? The excess space didn't appear to bother anyone ... soca was
jamming and folks were wining! Most certainly one of the best combinations one
could ask for!!
The promoters even had a giveaway for the best dress male and female of the night.
Btw ... we coming back next year from head to toe in WHITE! Yes, ah coming for
that prize!!
