This weekend all roads led to the Palazzo Patio for "X" Marks the Spot brought to you by marXman from the K.O.S family, and fete-go'ers came out in abundance to “mark” their territory in de soca scene!!!

As always, de TJJ crew arrived on time – ready to lime! We had ah few drinks in we system so we were already revved up and ready to go. The line moved nice and quickly, so in no time fete-go’ers were in the building, pushin’ back and winin’ forward. Now seeing that this party was outside and the weather was jes perfect, yuh know all the ladies came out in dey short shorts! *lol* Eye candy for days!!!! Ah know de fellas were enjoyin’ dat! On the one’s and two’s mashin’ it up were marXman, Dr. Jay and Soca Sweetness. The mic men included Dirty Dez and E-Man who added more flavour to the night. All the tunes were on point - the reggae set had the crowd in a frenzy, and of course the soca set enhanced the hype to the MAX!! The crews came out with their rags, flags and powder! This crowd was ready to handle everything the K.O.S family dished out!!

The music was pumpin’ strong all night, and fete-go’ers were winin’ up all over the place ... inside, outside, on de stage, in de corner! Anywhere they had room to pelt waist! smile

The party ended about 4am with the Soca Warrior Crew beggin’ for one last jump! They begged and pleaded until marXman satisfied their hunger for soca with Grenadian sensation Berbice’s biiiiig chune “Traffic”. When ah tell yuh they went maaaaad ... the crews ran from one end of the patio to the other, jammin’ and singin’ ... “If yuh holdin’ de traffic, let it go!!!!” It was ah sight to see, the hype was incredible!

After having to pull up the chune ah FEW times, fete-go’ers slowly made their way off the patio and into the parking lot. Party wasn’t done yet! *lol* The TJJ crew had ah ball and was happy to kick off SOCA SUMMER 2008 on ah bess note. smile Beautiful weather, adult beverages, great people and wikkid chunes ... what more could you ask for??!! We have to say, fete-go’ers were definitely pleased with this fete!

TJJ leavin’ we mark.. we gone til next time!!!!!!
