For all you serious partygoers out there, when it comes to party promotions, you should know the name "Itchi Baba". Itchi got started in NY, headed down to South Florida and is now making things happen in the A-T-L. And believe it or not, this year marks Itchi's 20th Anniversary in the business of bringing great concept parties, and the 5th Annual Water Colors kicked off their "The Breathless Weekend" theme for Atlanta Carnival 2008.

We arrived at Club Paradise around 1AM, and the door was ram jam. It was pressure getting in, with people waiting for folks to go into the backyard for the crowd to clear the front entrance. They definitely need two entrances next year.

It was woman from inside to outside as this was a venue with both inside partying and outside jamming. If you see woman in dey ... dance full ah natural beauties! Ah was in photo heaven, yes! With water mist flowing all through the night, partygoers were treated to music supplied by top DJs outta NY, Miami, Atlanta and even V.I. The NY DJs were placed on a truck outside, where they blazed Soca, Soca in we Wire, Wire!! Around 4AM, the sound system start giving a lil' trouble, so the jammin' returned to the inside where it was wall to wall woman!! Of course you know the TJJ crew was on hand to cover all the damages ... pure waist wining left n right! Large up Trinidad's Reggae artists, Million Voice & I Sasha for blessing the dance.

This was my first experience of ah Wet Fete in the US, but coming from the home of Wet Fetes (TnT of course), I was not disappointed. The Atlanta Carnival experience surely gained more props from this fete. Look out for Itchi Baba & Friends bringing you more serious vibes.
