With the Christmas season fast approaching, what better way to get into the spirit than by enjoying a fashion extravaganza. Pat and Pearl Haute Couture were hosting their 2009 Spring Collection entitled "VINTAGE", showcasing a mélange of vintage clothing made from the 1930s to date. It was held on Saturday November 29th at The Linx Suite Hotel (Vintage Car Rentals), Cross Crossing San Fernando. Both Pat and Pearl hail from S.S Erin Road in Penal, and have been in the fashion industry since 1984, competing amongst both local and international designers.

TJJ, in the South land two days in a row, arrived at the venue around 7:30pm. At the very top of the hotel contained a hall with the runway in the middle and premium seating on both sides for the crowd who sat in anticipation for showtime. On the outside/terrace/rooftop was a bar and seating area where hourdurves were being served. It wasn't too long before the models began to strut their stuff down the runway, revealing the six (6) sections of the Vintage collection - V-Vintage, I- Ivory and Ebony, N- New Vintage, T- Temptation, A- Ave Maria, G- Glitz and Glamour and E-Empire.

Vintage, Ivory and Ebony, New Vintage and Temptation were the first four concepts to be unleashed and patrons were elated. After a brief ten minute intermission, the models were back on the runway, parading the clothing line from last three (3) sections - Ave Maria, Glitz and Glamour and Empire. Some of the trendy styles were casual dresses, shirts and pants, formal wear and suits of all different colours and styles. Models were used from the “House of Jacqui”, with Jacqui herself present enjoying in the show.

As the different sections were highlighted, each were graced by beautiful sounds of a violinist, a saxophonist and DJ at hand; all setting the perfect mood. The show ended on a high note, with the master minds behind the show making their own fashion statement; Pat dressed in a red and white shirt with a red Mohawk and Pearl in a lovely red dress graced the stage alongside all of the models.

Congratulations to Pat and Pearl Haute Couture on the success of their 4th fashion show, and a clothing line of international standards.
