Ok .. well .. the Team TJJ thinking that this just going to be another cool down scene, wit ah lil' mellow vibes, so we figure we will go ah lil' later - like 11pm or so. Well, by the time we reach in the place, guess what's the first ting we see? Ah woman on de floor on she back .. ah man on top ah she .. another woman on top ah he .. and another man on top dat one!!! Pressure dred ... music pumpin' loud, iron jammin' and people having ah rel good time!!! For some reason, is like dat party was one of, if not the best party, in DC!! So actually, when we arrived at the Marlborough Country Club, the session was in swing ah long time ago and we vex we didn't reach earlier. But yuh know how people does tell we, "Allyuh everywhere boy!!" Well, dat was the case, and we weren't missing anything for the world!! WAIT, did we mention dis fete was FREE??? Yes ... F-R-E-E!!!

To tell the truth, we arrived on the scene at exactly 11:20pm and they say de party finishing at 12am. So yuh know what dat meant? Is rel wining going on for the next 40 minutes - no sticking a'tall a'tall !! And when we tell ya, that was the longest and best 40 minutes that we spent this ENTIRE weekend!! Music - rel hard, people - rel nice, iron - even better, everything else - PRICELESS!! Trussssss.

This time around, we roll up wit the Stray Dawg Krew, and by the time we reach ... not one of dem dawgs was left in sight!!! Bumpers and waist throwing ... dem dawgs gone!!!

As the DJ started to give the count down to end de party - we know - dem was not expecting Trini's to leave right on time, right? Craziness!!! As the clock hit twelve, it was like the year 2000 when it turn over ... people expecting ting to happen ... everything to shut down, clocks to malfunction, lights to go out and ting ting. And even at that time in 2000, Trini's did not care about nuttin'!!! We bet yuh, there was ah party somewhere and Trini Jungle Juice was dey to bring yuh de coverage!! *lol*

But anyways, as soon as the clock hit 12am, and de music stop ... because of how sweet the party was, women waists were still moving, even without music!!! And next thing yuh know, brrrraps ... ah iron man start up ah riddim!!! For the next 8 minutes, it was ah whole new world inside the Marlborough Country Club. At the end of that 8 minutes, the DJ try to beg the people to leave ... he mad or what??!! *lol* De iron man start up again dred, and for the next 4 minutes is rel tune 'n iron 'n waist!! But this time, they had to literally pry the iron away from the iron man!! Jokes!!

Well .. if the TJJ Fam tell yuh that the best party for we was 52 minutes long, trust we!! We only wished we had gotten there sooner. Much respect to Sprang International, Merry Perry and all the other DJ’s on the inside. We coming dis Appreciation Party from the get go in DC Carnival'09 ... well, after we pass thru everything else of course!!
