Although Halloween was still a few days away, here in T&T it was another “Night b4 de holiday,” and so the Black Velvet committee decided to put together a Halloween party called “D Hunted Forest.”

It was a breakfast party from 11 PM to 6 AM. Upon entering 51º, we noticed how they transformed the ambience into that of a haunted house. The staircase was lined with white drapes and candles which complemented the night’s theme. Ocean Spray had a mini bar present, where complimentary cocktails were being offered. Jack Daniels and Vodka drinks were on specials for the night as well.

It was about 1:30 AM, and the party was victim to the typical late party tendencies of Trini's, so you could only guess that things took off a bit slow. Well soon it was party time as the music pumped up. All the big DJs like 4 Play, Associate Degree (Assassin and Ryan Spartan) and Blaze & Shot Master J all did there thing on the 1s’ and 2’s.

Question ... What’s a Halloween party without a Halloween song!!?? Allyuh done know one of the DJs had to buss the famous “Ghostbusters” theme song and buss de dance. As always, the night continued with a blast and went on till about 5:50 AM. Awaiting patrons downstairs was breakfast. Who say Accra & Hops and Ham? Hot beverages was also on the menu too! smile
