And the winner is ... !!! Well after watching all 13 episodes, tonight is the night where it all comes down. Yup, the choosing of Mr. & Ms. Synergy Super Model 3!

Before I proceed I must say, I was very inspired by the models and their efficiency. One thing that really surprised me was the quick changing of outfits by the models. Wowie ... really unbelievable! It reminded me of the way the Wayans brother did it in the movie White Chicks. Lol!!!

On to the show. The fashion show was off the hook. The models wore clothing from local designers such as Peter Elias, Heather Jones, Claudia Pegus, Francis Hendy, Ecliff Elie, Dexter Jennings and Dominic La Roche, other showcases from Carolina’s Swim Wear, Bang Bang and Timberland and costumes by Evolution mas band with their presentation for 2009 “Temptations.” The show was almost flawless, 1 or 2 bumps or bruises, but nothing much to talk about. What did strike me as a bit peculiar was the way in which two of the male models were acting a little too vain. Don’t know if its because they knew the female patrons would go wild over their rock hard abs and the way they caress them (gulp) or the many kisses they blew into the crowd, touching themselves as if they were saying, "Yes, I am that hot to handle!"

The show lasted for about 2 ½ hours and all in good taste. Then it was time for the “Crowning”. First they started with Ms. Congeniality, which was given to Cennette Vasconcellos. Mr. Congeniality was given to Ethan Gordon. Now the long awaited announcing of the Synergy Super Model 3 winners. Let’s start with the males. 4th Runner Up - Ethan Gordon; 3rd Runner Up - Kwame Agard; 2nd Runner Up - Justin Lashley and the 1st Runner Up - Mikhail Ragooenan. Ladies & Gentlemen .... the Male winner of Synergy Super Model 3 is JAVON SKEETE!!! (yeah clap, clap) and I must agree, great choice!

Now for the females. The 3rd Runner Up - Shanette Mendoza; 2nd Runner Up - Cenette Vasconcellos and the 1st Runner Up - Kerry Ann Murphy. For the grand finally (drum roll please) ... PEAL JOSEPH!!!! Yeah!!! I must say Pearl carried herself with true grace and poise, she deserved it. So once again, congrats to the overall Synergy Super Model 3 winners Javon and Pearl. You both worked very hard for it.

Next came more of the night’s entertainment. Rap star Lil Jon was in the house! Strange enough, you know the saying, “the camera puts on 10 pounds!” Well it is true! The dude isn’t that short or as dark ... lol. He tantalized us with his hits and even borrowed some from others. What I liked most is that he even mixed in a little of our culture in his performance, raising his glass and pelting some waist to Hunter’s 2008 hit song “Bring It”. Yeah you know the one that goes ... "ah want meh rum in de morning!!" Yeahhhhh!!! Well things wrapped up at roughly 3:10 AM, and I really didn't feel like going home. It was that good, trust me.

Just a lil' tip from your girl Lece ... Ladies, if yuh come to a party wearing yuh bess heels and it burning yuh foot, we don't have to know!! Be a woman and keep it on. I mean come on we were meant to carry children ... what's a pair of heels??!! It is classless to see a woman with her stiletto heels next to her while she is winning down to the ground barefoot. Worse yet, if yuh wearing peep toe flats and yuh find yuhself barefoot! C’mon for goodness sake, either stay home, leave early or wear the right attire. I myself have worn shoes that killed, but I kept on smiling, it was painful like hell but I wore it like the woman I am. So ladies, if you cannot do it, please leave it for the pros!! Karen, thanks for your company and thanks for leaving on your shoes!! smile

Lece for TJJ fam.
