It was a cold dark night on October 31st when all the soca-ghosts decided to come out and play. There was only one place for them to gather on this weary night and that was at Palazzo nightclub for Scream 5. This soca haunt was brought to us by de goblins themselves Soca Sweetness and IslandBoyz.

The TJJ posse was dressed to impress ... costumes were bought in advance so there was no holdin’ us back! We arrived around 11pm and found Palazzo transformed into a haunted house. There were vampires, witches, werewolves and monsters all wanting to get their soca spook on! Playing the graveyard shift and sending thrills’ through our bones all night were de devil’s Soca Sweetness, Dr. Jay de Soca Prince, Soca Monarchs and Mandingolay. Brenton B, E-Man and S.K.F provided de lyrical potion on de mic and made all the soca jumbies rise from de dead! Every man jack in de party was wearing ah costume ... ah tell yuh this is de one day people ALWAYS go ALL out! Whether they were being mysterious behind a mask or exposing some extra skin, fete-go’ers were definitely dressed and ready for Scream 5! We saw all type’s of costumes ... big, small ... fully clothed, half-naked!! It was rel presssshah on de inside especially fuh de fellas!!!

We tricked and treated around de party checkin’ out all de bess costumes, while still takin’ ah small wine here and there! Lol .. come nah! We must have some fun too! This party was cursed with nothing but sweet magic ... the soca devils definitely came out for revenge that night, cause they had all de skeletons wukkin’ up and bendin’ dey bones! There were plenty vampires and monsters and even ah few special out-of town ghosts in de building ... Ms. Nadia Batson, Skinny Fabulous, Problem Child and Lil Rick were all part of this gruesome experience ... rah raaaaaah! When ah tell yuh they was wukkin’ up ah storm!

As the jack-o-lantern’s started fading away, the night was slowly coming to an end. You could see de horror on all de faces in this haunted house as they realized Halloween was gone for another year! As they boogied down to de last set around 3:30am, all de soca freaks needed one last screaaaaaam for the night.. “You’re fighting for your life inside of killer, thriller tonight!” Yesssss.. doin’ de Thriller dance was de only way they would return to their graves in peace!

Take ah joke fuh de road ... Where does a ghost go on Saturday night? - Anywhere where he can boo-gie!!!!!!!
