As usual, TJJ had to be the last to leave ah fete, so we leave TRIBE Ignite by about 4.00am, just in time to dust the sand off we feet from the race track, piddle paddle a bit, and grab something to eat before reaching SHINE MIAMI at about 5.30am. We pull together video camera and photographer crews for this session cause we hear it ga be nice. And even doh de video man beggin' we to let him sleep ... we not business-ing cause is no rest for de wicked and besides, we wanted allyuh to see everything .... especially since de bossman, Back to Basics, personally ask us to come ... so we comin'!! No No No ... We dey!!!

As soon as the TJJ crew walk into Club Nocturnal at 6.15am, after a little delay outside, is rhel posing by the Shine massive. De place was already jumping when we got there ... but wait! Just by the obvious dedication by everyone to wear something yellow and a pair of sunglasses, it was no surprise why Shine NY has helped to make Shine Miami one of de hottest parties during the Carnival celebration. Everyone in dis fete was shining in yellow ... oh geez ... we forgot our yellow outfits again! But no scene, from yellow flowers in de hair to yellow stilettos, all of Shine was decked out in their "best-est" yellow. Well, except de slim ting in she pink colourful shorts ... like Borat say, "Very Niiicccceeeee ... I like!!"

By 10.00am, some people already had their fill of de hottest party so far and needed to rest up for other events (ammm ... ok) or maybe dey couldn't just handle all de wining?? But anyway, as fast as they left, people were pouring in by the numbers still - folks coming from home, from the airport, from breakfast, from de beach ... from EVERYWHERE!!! People kept coming and going - there was still even a lineup at the door around 12.00pm!! Imagine that?? Partying at 12 noon .. WOW!

The settings and everything else surrounding Shine was on point. But you know what really made the party? What really made Rise Miami meets Shine NY? It was the All-Star DJ lineup!!! From the North to the South, the DJ's lined up flinging big tunes all day long. DJ Hazzard (DC), DJ Stephen (ATL), House Arrest (MIA), Sounds4Life (NY), D' Bandit (T.O), Natural Freaks (NY) with Vibes Man Redman & Giselle The Wassi One (with Jabba & Umba of passin' thru) on the mic ... and of course, Back to Basics!! And these are only the DJs that blessed the Rooftop ... All the big name Reggae sounds where downstairs.

DJ Stephen started things off hot n' sweaty and Mr. Shine himself, Back to Basics aka De Party Rocker (with his personalized Shine t-shirt and ting - papa oye - photos 77 & 78), mash up de place at the end. And allyuh see everything in between .... geeze an ages ... it was pressure. And by the way, we haven't heard DJ Hazzard play that much before, and he surely out did himself at Shine!! While he was playing, it was front to bumper, bumper to bumper and front to front jamming ... what ever the direction ... the Soca light was shining right through Shine!!! Ah mean, we almost had an outta body experience listening to Hazzard play. And let's not forget the live drummer (photo) in the dance that was accompanying the DJs ... LAWD!!! Natural Freaks captained with Tony Cross on the mic, called down some BIG forwards from the Shine Miami crowd. The whole mornin' was just chune after chune after chune after chune from all the DJs!!!

In de heat of the fete ... quite literally I might add, Petite Juice and her crew (once they finally arrived) had the bartender hopping! *lol* It was pure winery in dat corner! But wait ... the infamous 'Panty Man' came chippin' along and sized up a bumsie on the wall ... immediately dropped his pants (yes, you ready correctly) and put down ah piece ah wine on "said" bumsie!!! The wine was so hard that de fella bracing the "said" bumsie for de wine, fall off de wall flat on his back!!! Play yuh eh know, he jumped right back up and started wining like he did not just almost bust his coconut clean open! LOL!!! Jokes fuh daaaayyysss!!! Now, sad to report, but a small fight bruck out in de session!!! But hear dis ... it was two woman fighting over one man ... pressure ... das to tell yuh how much woman in de place!!! The place was ram cram jam cram raaaaammmmmm!!! Then some lady buss way she toe or heel or something, and was still wining while her friend applied pressure to the cut! Now dat is a woman serious bout she fete!!!

And we must make mention of the food - perfect - on de money for that time of the mornin'. Ah had a nice piece of fry bake and saltfish w/ plenty peppa, then a piece of gum (no saltfish breath for me thank you) before jumping right back in de action.

As it got later, de party started to get better. This was the first time I see man balancing at an angle just to take ah wine - no lie - and for the first time, women weren't scared to wine back on any man ... tru tru talk!! At one time, we even see Giselle The Wassi One sit down on ah man head and bruck out on him ... pressure!!! Look out for that photo in "A Moment In Time" coming soon on TriniJungleJuice.com.

We didn't leave Nocturnal until 2:30 pm - when the DJ announced the last song playin'. Ah wined so hard, like it was de last whine of meh life!!! As ah matter of fact, the whole TJJ Crew tek ah last wine ... is was rhel waist!!! "Darlin, when de party over ... ah wanna make love to you tonight..."
