Hey Honey Bunches of Oats! It's another ridiculously cold day here in NYC. We're headed to The Official Red Eye Appreciation and right now I don’t even want to get out of the car fuss it cold! We arrived on the scene extra early.. so early that we were the first there. The music wasn't even set up yet!

About a half hour later the DJ’s got there and set up the music and everything was falling into place. Mr. Groove was on and was playing some chunes to groove too. I mean damn.. I was missing a lover for this segment boy!!

So as you know, it's early so there's a couple a people just vibes-ing Miguel, the notorious corn soup man, was setting up in a corner. Today he bring out the works boy. He didn’t just walk with his famous corn soup, he brought bake n shark and saltfish ... yummy! Whoever his wife is, she rhel lucky, yes!! I need a man like Miguel in my life .. lol!

Time is flying by now and the place started to get crowded. By this time Mr. Groove is off the set and I'll be honest the music afterward was kinda iffy. I'm not going to call names and put anyone on blast, but Trini's living in NY don’t wanna hear Mavado gun tunes for a half an hour okay! I was wondering if they were really serious. Luckily Starkid came on the scene accompanied by Tony Cross from Natural Freaks to save the day. They definitely woke up the dance ... phew!

There were one or two cute outfits tonight and the usual one or two gwalas spotted here and there. We in BK so that was not surprising, if it was the city I woulda make noise! But I'm accustomed to spotting one or two questionable characters in Brooklyn by now.

Right now, the place is ram jam and of course it's madd hott. But nobody didn’t business nah.. they were having a time and a half. Da Party Rocker Back to Basics reach now, and it's nothing but niceness. I had to take a lil' two wine for meh song, "We Like It." After a long weekend of fetting this was a nice way to wrap it up. Some folks were off to other fetes, but it was way too cold outside for the team. As for me, I went straight home to meet my favorite blanket.

Vaughn, large up yuhself ... de dance was ram and we had tons of fun!
