Neal and Massy launched this seasons brand new cars - the Teana and the Qashqai, and my, my, my ... they were very impressive. For some reason it was a very hot evening but the guests mingled with friends and associates while laughter fluttered through the air. The bar was stocked with the premiums and an array of finger foods to delight any palette. The band Overdrive and the Neal and Massy All Stars both entertained guests before the official function.

Walking in, I was greeted by the vehicles that we all should know. The Sylphy, Navara and the Xtrail. At around 7:30 PM, the function began with master of ceremonies Adrian Don Mora. He welcomed guests and introduced Mr. Collin Homer whom introduced the first car, the Nissan Qashqai.

The Neal and Massy girls opened the curtains where we saw the Qashqai surrounded by palm trees, beach chairs and coconuts. The red four door hatchback family vehicle received its oooo’s and aahh’s. Mr. Homer boasted on its smooth acceleration, quick response, agile handling and superior stability on any street. Well people, I know nothing about cars, but when the hood was popped all I could say was “wow!” The Qashqai of course comes with Dual front S.R.S. (Supplemental Restraint System) airbags, zone body construction which offers the world’s highest level of impact safety and much more.

The Teana ... well what more can I say, it exudes luxury. It is an executive vehicle far beyond its capability. Its cream leather interior was gorgeous and with what seems to me to be lazy boy reclining seats (foot rests and all). The Teana’s reengineered V6 engine, combined with new xtronic CVT and an all new Nissan D platform, provides the driver with new level of comfort stress free performance. The Teana comes with six speaker audio system, push button ignition, intelligent key with engine immobilizer/alarm system, illuminated vanity mirror for us ladies, seat memory function and even a stylish glass sunroof if so desired. Just imagine all that. Ohh, Safety is A+.

So to the hosts, Neal and Massy, who is also a past holder of the First Class Dealership Award on several occasions, thanks for having us, it was a lovely evening. Folks don’t forget to go visit a dealership near you and check out the two new vehicles. Hopefully T&T will soon be seeing Teana and Qashqai on the nations roads.
