It is time to “pick a pan!!!” Lol! Allyuh remember that? Well then, the fellas of 2&13 Promotions have done it again with another installment of their summer series of events; Mastana Bahar! Man, every time I think about that show it cracks me up! Hee hee!

I don’t know about you all but when I think about Mastana Bahar I immediately think about curry!!! Sorry, am I being stereotypical? No offense, but I have curry running in my veins right next to the mas, soca and scotch!! Gimme de dougla!!! Lol!

Anyhow, we arrived at the venue early o’clock... like 5 in the afternoon! Well I mean the curry was calling, what can I say. smile But, hello ... crickets!!! It seems folks came got their food and left! Well I mean with curry crab, chicken, goat, dumplin etc. why wouldn’t they get their grub on first??!! However, I swear West Indians love to fete late (if they can), especially in BK. We decided to return later on as well.

Almost 5 hours later we rolled up in the fete to see people having a good ole time! The bar was ram and the ladies serving up drinks were donned in saris etc. and everyone was holding a spot winin! That’s what’s up! The DJ's were having a field day flinging down the latest soca and reggae and the crowd responded simply by a series of winin down to the ground versions. Man, I saw a woman executing what I like to call the “winin spectacle”. That is she wine on de man back, bent over and kind of sprawled out all in one shot!!! Lol! I only wish I had the photo to show. Don’t worry next time. Someone is always guilty and I will find them!!! Mmwwahahahaa!

Okay, soon after that it was time to pick a pan! Literally! The promoters made the event interactive by inviting folks holding the ticket number announced to pick a pan with $150 prize inside. The first young lady was not so lucky, but the second one hit the jackpot in her second try! Hey $150 .... I’ll take that!

The jamishness continued until around 12, just as Po Po was about to shut it down. Hey it was fun! Next flex ... No Boundaries! Y'all remember that one?? Stay tuned...
