With Mother’s day just passing, it’s time for us to show the special Father’s a good time on their day. Now what better way to show them a fun-filled night than taking them to a Father’s Boat Ride aboard the beautiful Enterprise 2000, brought to you by Jay, Earl and Thane (J.E.T).

Although the skies were gloomy and there was no sunshine in sight, that surely didn’t stop the “party animals” from coming out in abundance. Rain or shine, you know Caribbean people have hot foot, so nothing can stop them from having a good time. We pulled up into the parking lot around 6pm to see drinks and more drinks in hand. Boarding time was 7pm, but before ANY boat ride, you know we have to take ah few drinks in the parking lot and buss ah small lime to get the blood pumpin'!!

We set sail just after 8pm and people were upstairs winin’, downstairs chippin’ and on the deck groovin’. No matter where you were, the sweet sounds circulating throughout the boat made you buss ah move! Big ups to Dr. Jay and marXman for rockin’ de boat all night with their dj’ing skills and of course, MC E Man for keeping the vibes on point. Now every year there’s a special artist on board, and this year we had the pleasure of having the “Father or Soca” Mr. Johnny King!! For all the young folks, you at least know, "Whole Day" with Shurwayne Winchester and "Darling", but prior to your years *lol*, Johnny King is well known for his hits "Nature’s Plan" and "Ah Want It".

Ah must say, one of the bess things about this boat ride was the food, YES! Catered by Islandmix Restaurant, you just couldn’t get a better Sunday dinner. We talkin’ bout garden salad, spring rolls, vegetable fried rice, schezuan shrimp and islandmix chicken ... yuuuuuum! When ah tell yuh, the TJJ crew eat we belly full ... wooooi! After that, drinks were pouring like water and de vibes continued to be sweeeeeeeeeet!

We docked just after 12am, and everyone on board was still rockin’ de boat. The father’s looked very content with their night as we all proceeded to the parking lot - another lime then began!! *lol* What can we say? We love to lime! It looked like no one was going to work on Monday except TJJ though!! All in all, de boat ride was ah rel cool scene - mixed crowd, madd vibes and definitely ah bess dinner! After all that good stuff de only thing we needed to top off de night was ah bed ... lol.
