Celebrating a birthday is like celebrating the fact that the last year was a success. And if this is not the case, at least you can always celebrate that the next year WILL be!! smile Well, Woodford Café celebrated its 1st Birthday, and all who got a hold of an invitation had a blast with their friends.

Free drinks, ice-cream, Synergy TV coverage and a special unplugged performance by Imij & Co. was what you outsiders missed (hard luck dey). Woodford, we know where you came from and oh gorsh we hope to know whey yuh going because TJJ wanna go too!!! Guests got a chance to bounce shoulders with local TV personalities like Shal Marshall, Kristy-Ann and Whitney Husbands (the new hostess of D'Scene on Synergy TV ... Hans where ya gone dude?), promoter Michael Charles (of Taurus Movement) and local artists like Klase, Laurenzo Gonzalez and even the sexy rasta man Kees Dieffenthaller of Kes The Band.

The lime was sweet, the vibes was cool and the turn out was more than enough because the place looked packed. TJJ TV with local hosts Damian & Candice were sure to capture the hightlights of the evening, which included Imij & Co.'s performance, and of course, the sexy looking ladies and swanky looking men. Imij & Co. minus lead singer Russell Cadogan (who was out of the country at the time) performed a well-blended set, singing Easy ("Black Magic", "Landslide"), Rap ("Sexual Eruption"), RnB ("Love In This Club", "No Air") and Reggae ("Pepper Pot", "Blind To You (Haters)") selections. In true Trini fashion, they ended their performance with Soca ("Party Animal", "Unconditional", "Rollin", "Get On")!! Much luv goes out to our homegirl, Michelle Xavier. Joey, big up!

Woodford Café was nice enough to celebrate this time with it's people .. the very same people that celebrated the cafe's success all year long. Benny, thanks for having us!! We at Trini Jungle Juice wish you and your staff all the best. Happy Birthday!!

We left after 1:00AM, and there was still a crowd liming strong. Allyuh reach home yet?? A lot of the pack headed down to Attic for more vibes afterwards.
