We arrived at the scene around 1:20 AM and met a large onslaught of parked vehicles. Looked like de dance score! Well parking wasn’t much of a problem although we did have to take a small stroll to reach the venue, which wasn’t too bad as ample security along the way kept our minds at ease. Now finding the party was easy.. all we had to do was follow the music that was filling the night’s air. Oh and people, please make sure that you got your tickets in hand when leaving the car, cuz we learned the hard way after pulling square at de door. Geez and ages!!

Once inside, we also saw the heavy security presence as well. They looked serious but remained professional throughout the night. The music consisted of nuff eighties selections with the DJs spinning hot tunes to the crowds delight. A large Heineken tent hosted the main bar, which was well equipped with plenty bartenders ready, willing and able to serve up partygoers requests quickly. Best of all, they took cash! No running around to buy chits and such. At the bar, there were also free tortilla chips and salted nuts readily available for snacking. For the more serious snackers, there was a heavier menu available upstairs with favorites like Corn Soup and the likes. We also saw an all time first too ... Soy Sauce Neck! Yea you read correct ... Soy Sauce Neck!!

From upstairs, besides getting a better view of the night’s scenic starry sky, you also had a nice view of the dancing crowd, DJs and wait.. there was even a mini bar tucked away too. Our eyes even caught some dudes using the foliage upstairs as their private bathroom. Guess they missed the many portable potties near the entrance!!??

Up until 3:30 AM amazingly enough, people were still making their way uphill and into the party. Looks like no curfew restrictions at this fete! About one hour later we decided to depart. Making our way down the slope, we remembered hearing the “ouches & ahhs” from women as they played it safe and walked downhill barefoot. Hats off to any woman who could have exited that fete after consuming a couple of drinks and was wearing heels to boot. Being the sequel, from what we heard, people really enjoyed liming at this unusual and different house location.
