Okay, so here we are again, in Queens for yet another fête. Picture Perfect Production was hosting the Official Miami Send Off for all those heading to Miami Carnival in a couple weeks.

Well we got there early only because I know how the parking is at this venue, as I anticipated I got parking right in front. The first thing that you notice when walking in, are the ice sculptures (about 3 or 4). And I have to say, I loved the sexy angel & naughty devil ones the best, even though they were all beautifully crafted.

Now on to da main attraction... there were two floors - VIP upstairs and general admission on the first floor. Since we got there early, there wasn't much of a crowd... just a handful of people. It was about midnight and while sitting in the lounge area, which was nicely decorated with plush velvet chairs (very comfy, rich colors of crimson and violet). It gave you a nice relaxed, yet exotic feeling, especially with the tantric paintings to highlight.

As time ticked away, this fete never really took off with still just had a handful of people. Someone mention to us that perhaps this party (which had an All Star DJ cast), should have been held in Brooklyn instead of Queens. Who knows? Hopefully it would be bigger and better next time around.
