X Carnival Cooler Block Fete
Its Day 4 of the Miami Carnival 2008 Fetealotathon® - Carnival Saturday night (Sunday morning) here at Bayside Hut in Miami and the Generation X big road truck was in full force mashing up de place. The Gen X Cooler Fete is always a good start to Miami Carnival. When we reach, its a line of people with all kind ah coolers. Brother J from Toronto created a great vibe from early, other top soca DJs from major cities continued the vibe. Thanks to Back to Basics (NY), Eternal Vibes (Miami), Tony Tempo ( Atlanta), Rene (Orlando) and Lalo (Trinidad) for keeping the vibe right to the end. Partygoers of all backgrounds were jumping and waving to the sweet soca music. Man these people was getting on bad with excitement! Gen X always attracting celebs to their events, this time is was Jamal Magloire, the Trini now in the Miami Heat line up. Two prizes were given; one for the biggest cooler and the other for the most unique cooler. Gen X always know how to please their patrons. Man as I was taking pics, de music take meh over. Ah tell yuh, it was like a jumbie and before you know, it was nearing 5o clock and de people didn't want to go home, but the Gen X crew had to get ready to hit the streets in the next few hours for the Miami Carnival Parade. ==================================== |
