After having such a great Carnival 2008, who would of think that we would be able to relive the moment? Well Titan and Trevlyn did by creating a fantastic event called "Full Joy Yuhself". This event was held at the Trinidad Country Club in Maraval on Saturday 29th March. Definitely one of the BIGGER events carded for the Shouter Baptist Long Weekend.

On arriving into the parking lot, the scene looked safe and secure with ample parking for patrons. Always a PLUS!! It's good to know that you could come out of a fete and still see ya ride where you left it! smile

Continuing to make tracks inward, we could not help but notice the amazing décor, as carnival headpieces from big bands such as Island People Mas, Tribe, Legacy, Evolution and many more ingeniously decorated one's surroundings. My particular highlight however, was how they were able to create STREET SIGNS that reminded party-goers and 2k8 masqueraders of roads they were chipping down on Carnival Monday & Tuesday such as ARIAPITA AVENUE AND CHARLOTTE STREET.

With party in full swing DJ Titan had patrons in a frenzy. There was no time for one to stop dancing as he lashed out hits like "Congo Man" that had everyone going down, down, down, not forgetting other major chunes like "Blazin' D Trail", "Gyal Farm", "Get On" and much more. Other DJs that also mashed up the set for the night where Rapid Response, Ready Mix, Chinee, Trevlyn & Die Hard and The Associate Degree.

As the latest Dancehall music (Passa Passa) started to play, the dancers of Trini Alliance took to the stage to teach us the latest dance moves such as "To The World” and “Boggle Bounce". At the end of it all, I found myself repeating what I stated earlier. That is .... patrons really got a chance to relive the moments of Carnival 2k8. This party had real JAMISHNESS and there was no reason to complain!! smile

In summary ... there was well stock bar, nice people and real vibes. We will be looking forward to this party come next year.
