So you now how they does do on TV, the last episode of the season usually has a cliff hanger making the viewer hang on wanting to know what happens and thus return for the premier of the next season. By the way who did shoot JR? Well that's how we felt bout this episode of FRIENDS, it was the first one for 2008 and we were definitely looking forward to what was instore, the guys at sixAxis Ent started off with just about 100-150 people showing up to their events, now, it's double that. Though it had only been a month since the Jingle Friends Episode, it felt like we had not been to Sosta Lounge in a long time, but with the holidays and all the Christmas and New Year's Eve parties its seems like forever.

So, because of that we were able to actually arrive to an event before 1AM, yes one of our New Year's resolutions. We were surprised to see a crowd had already formed on the inside. Either they were looking forward to tonight jus as much as us, or they were here for the free entry before midnight. Major Links was already on the inside, while C.I.Dee Sound, who had only just touched down in MIA, was reportedly on their way. You know how when you land yuh hadda stop in a few rum shops along the way? Right!

So the night was off to a good start and there was a vibe in the air. We noticed that the folks at Carib had discovered the event and Sosta was now decorated in Carib swag, letting everyone know it's not jus Bud on sale at the bar. We also noticed that some of the couches in Sosta were now missing, supposed to make room for more dancing and less lounging, this is a fete after all. So we doing some people watching and seeing a line forming outside, as it start to get full inside and folks take up positions by the back bar for socializing or right in the lounge for 'bacchanalizing'.

In walks Tempo’s own, Empress Jeanille, looking lovely and glowing as usual - without a camera crew in tow - so she jus come to party like the rest of us. Later on in the night we spotted current MLS Toronto FC player and former World Cup 98 Reggae Boy Ty Marshall taking in the scenes. So you know we had to rub elbows and snap some pics. A bit later on there were some whispers going thru the crowd and when we looked around to see what was going on we spotted non other than Mr. Jack it Up himself, the top shotta Spragga Benz jus chilling in the back normal normal.

Like we said earlier there was a vibe to the night and everyone was feeling it, at one point we saw one of the promoters outside announcing that the club was full and no one else would be permitted entry... looks like we picked the right night to show up early. There was also no less than 10 people who came out to celebrate their birthdays at FRIENDS, and the round of vodka shots certainly helped keep the vibes going. A good time was had by all and we looking forward to the next episode already FRIENDS – Postcard from Paradise, for all of those stuck in South FL on Carnival Saturday!
