Do you have a favourite colour? Do you sometimes wish that you could fete at a party coordinated to your colour as the theme? Well if you’re like the TJJ crew and you like BLUE, what other place to put on something sexy in blue than the Solarium for the BLUEBERRY BASHMENT - Vibez Session VI?! Brought to you by RenegadeSquadEnt.Com and M.A.C. Productions, this was Toronto’s official pre-Caribana warm up, 6 years in the making!

With two rooms that could hold about 1,000 people, yuh know we were arriving a lil' later on in the night.. lol! Ah mean, we sure we getting in! We pulled up just after midnight and the line was around d’ corner. No scene though, we walked up to the door and had no problems getting in. On the inside, about half the club was already packed and people were getting’ their groove and drink on. This party wasn’t a regular party though, a lot of mixed faces with different genres of music.

It was an ALL-STAR DJ lineup for the night. Representing the sweet sounds of Soca music, Dr. Jay ~ De Soca Prince and D'Enforcas ~ Canada's Soca Navigators, hosted by E Man (Kingdom of Soca) and S.K.F. (The People's Champ). The resident DJ's were M.A.C. Productions ~ East End's Secret and Renegade Squad ~ Canada's Most Versatile Sound. Selecting the best in Reggae music, Lindo P ~ Canada's #1 Reggae Selector, Vertex Sound ~ De World Sound, Dyce Locke ~ Toronto's Rising Star. Of course, dropping the craziest Hip-Hop and R&B were Legacy Sound ~ Canada's Most Requested and Hard Knocks Ent ~ The Ladies Choice. So yuh already know, with a lineup like that, EVERYTHING NICE! Yuh have a little bit of everything ... so the DJ’s were hittin’ all the right spots. Both rooms were packed, all the fellas came out lookin’ fly, and de ladies XTRA hot! People surrounded the bars, and it was a lil' bit tight to get “tight” ... but of course, TJJ always finds ah way!

From ole’ chunes to new chunes, people were bumpin’ nonstop to the beats. Like I said before, this party was very diverse ... although the “usual suspects” were not out in full force, that didn’t change the vibe of this bashment! There were smiles on the faces of many party-go’ers, as you squeezed pass them to wine ‘bout d place.. so yuh know they were havin’ ah good time! The party ended at about 3:30am, and we were already buss after bruckin’ out inna d dance - from 3AM! Lol! It was one of those nights where not even food cud keep us there any later (and yuh know how the TJJ crew love ah food - lol)!!

BLUEBERRY BASHMENT was definitely ah nice change of scenery! We out ah breath... latah!!!!!!!
