Ahhh boy! We're ready to hit Maracas, the club that is. It's Day 2 of fettin' and it was already feeling like Day 5! Good grief ... like ah getting ole!? Ah nex ting ... the weather was just sucky!

Anywho, we easily got a parking space half a block from the venue. That was a shocker but then we thought oh gad oooyyeee!!! Easy parking might mean de fete buss! Hey to my surprise, the place was half full. Phew! Also, before we knew it getting through the crowd had become a bit of a challenge. Guess you could say that we were early/late?

Of course we hit up the bar and this time we ordered up some grub. Shrimp wontons in garlic sauce to be exact! The food was awesome, and of course the bartenders were on point with theirs. It was a very girly cocktail night for me; umbrellas, cherries and all!

Anyway, the music was rhel sweet thanks to D'Duchess (photo) reppin' from Trinidad. The dance floor was ram out and it was just straight wining. Queens massive, y'all stay winin! No talk ... just jamishness!!! Doh talk for when the DJ buss de chutney! Screw de light bulb ... screw de light bulb!!

Around 2:30am, Farmer Nappy , Zan and Patrice Roberts burst onto the stage performing their respective hits and then started belting out some of Machel's own hits. Old and new! The most amusing, and yes I said amusing, was when the trio decided to jump into the crowd!!! Hahahahaha! I nearly buss my arse trying to get the shot! I guess they thought that the crowd was a lil' more passive since it was a Queens crowd. They didn't even last a minute!!! Lol! I bet they won't do that again!!

You ever noticed that after a performance people just scatter and leave? Well not so here ... the fete just went on and on! I think I'll start fettin' in Queens more often! The action was right on the money at this fete ... TJJ is looking for it next year!

Petite out ... where are my galoshes?
