Black Velvet's monthly Saturday night lounge party"Level" is quickly becoming a popular staple on the party scene. By the time we got to 51 Degrees, after midnight, the place was packed!

The first thing I noticed was that everybody was dancing, minus your few regular posers here and there. The theme for this month's series was "Old Shool" and they definitely didn't disappoint. The DJs were playing the best of the best, not those 'ole skool' tunes that leave you scratching your head and wondering what station did they used to listen to back in the day! Yes, as the night went on they switched up the genres and had us bubbling to classics like "Queen of the Pack" and "Ram Ram", and then partygoers got their Hip Hop swag on. I almost busted out the 'running man' on them but I didn't want to inadvertently drop TJJ's expensive equipment (good excuse right ... lol), so ah jus did a lil' shoulder dance instead! smile

The night was also a celebration of Jack Daniel's Anniversary, so there were Jack Daniel's specials on all night at the bar, and Jack Daniel's promo girls were also on hand to ensure everyone was having a good time.  Now we don't think they had to add much to the hype because judging from the crowd, the vibe of the party was enough. The place stayed packed till late, as is usual for Black Velvet's monthly party. Good job guys, keep bringing us Level entertainment!
