Level Entertainment, Level Vibes, and Level Energy

After a resounding Plymouth Jazz Festival last weekend, a "cool" down of the sort in Trinidad was required - Black Velvet had been promoting this event since their last installment - April 5th 2008 - and there was much anticipation and eagerness involved. Club/Lounge 51 Degrees was the carded location for the night's event - a regular spot for Black Velvet Promotions. 51 Degrees is most definitely one of the premium spots in Trinidad and Tobago, and certainly has a desirable reputation to uphold. TJJ arrived at the disco at midnight and we promptly took in the scenery outside. With not much people outside, there had to be people in the club ... so said so done. However, as usual, the dance floor is always empty and awaiting sexy patrons ... sigh .... only in Trinidad!!

The music for the night was supplied by XTC, Tweez, and DJ Dane. Touching all genres of music (and a variety of years as well), all to light up the ears of the patrons and of course ensure that we sing and dance along to the melodies. As usual you know if you are a fan of the old school stuff, there was plenty of that coming from the speakers ... basically similar to last month's tunes. Hmmm, should I even begin?

A much appreciated nice size crowd was present there and we will always give props to Black Velvet for keeping the size of their parties at bay and not over crowding - no one can say that the party was rammed or it was disgustingly sweaty ... never! Especially when you have drink specials on Belvedere Vodka and Carib ALL NIGHT LONG - anyone will have a great time!! Nice crowd, no bad vibes, and friendly people as well - no problems!

We must comment on the fact that for every ten people that were there last night, only three people were there the month before - really - a new crowd every month - well relatively new crowd every month - it's a player's dream ... hahahaha. But seriously, one can construe this in many ways - either the other seven people stopped partying or the word was efficiently passed around so new ears and eyes were present ... who knows ... WE LIKE IT!!!

So Black Velvet Concepts, that was number three for the year. We know there is going to be number four - June 7th 2008! Yes people, they advertised it last night. See you all at the next installment!!
