Hey Honey Bunches Of Oats!!

Okay it's January in NYC and when I say outside cold.... it, realll cold!! However "The Party Rocker" Back to Basics was having his annual birthday party at Tropical Sunset and there was no way TJJ was missing dat.
So we reach to the venue and there was a hellified long line outside (big steupss). It was too cold to stand on that line, oui! Well boy we swear we were passing through customs.... lol. The way dem frisk people down. I was like, "Are they serious"? I really felt violated. lol.

So bam, we in there like swim wear. The vibes was going a lil' nice... music was sweet and my head was definitely bumpin'. On the wheels of steel was NY's Natural Freaks, Dr. Wax and of course "The Party Rocker" himself had to come an bless de dance. Big up Natural Freaks... woy, we thought we were in a maxi taxi fuss de chunes wicked! The ladies were looking aight, and as usual, you know there were a few of them that dressed in the dark... lol. Hey come on, ya gotta be on point!

Next ting we know de fete ram, jam, cram! The party was soo crowded not even ants could pass through. Well you could just forget about the bar.... if we didn't know a couple of the bartenders, we weren't going to get any work done and died of thirst!!! ;-) But yuh know West Indians doh business, dey having a time. Time flying now and we started to feel de heat!!! Ahhhhh... De Heat!!! Ultimate sweat box... lol!! And to make it worse, there were a few inconsiderate gwalas smoking in the fete... cheups.

All in all, the dance was nice. Especially when Back to Basics start flinging down some of the newest Soca tunes.... carnival was definitely in de air. Lauren doh cry ah leavin...... cuz we "Blazin D Trail"!!! Buss de fireworks!!! De party sell off!!!! Happy Birthday Ricardo!! We'll buy ya a doubles in Trini!!!
