This rounds we were looking forward to the Adrenaline Boat Cruise, one of the most anticipated boat cruises of the summer, reason being it was a day cruise - 12noon to 4pm! You could get your drink & lime on early in the day and still make it home in time for Sunday dinner! (lol). Now we have to admit although the excitement was there, the wet weather and looming rain clouds in the distance had people wondering if the boat would even leave the dock fuss the clouds were set up! But who cares ... someone say boat cruise??!! We arrived around 11am and well yes, rain doh buss ah lime nah. Cars were already parked, music was blaring and trunks were open displaying coolers of liquor and food. West Indians sweet eh! Boarding started around 12:30pm and the Adrenaline fever had begun on the spacious River Gambler. Much to everyone's relief, the tarp roof was still intact for that "just incase" rain cloud that was ever so present, but eventually the sun came out and the tarp was removed allowing everyone to enjoy the sunshine. Much props to Toronto's most versatile DJ's Court Jester, Kold Fusion and the one & only Dr. Jay for throwing things down on the one's and two's. They had the boat rocking at all times! We can't forget da men with the steel ... E Man and host Jean Paul (Toronto's #1 Caribbean Comedian) for keeping the vibes sweet! We have to admit we were very impressed with the bar staff, who were quick and efficient, and any time Johnnie & Goose are available for consumption, we happy like pappy! This was turning out to be the original Toronto Booze Cruise! Whey! With drinks flowing like water, limers were appreciative of the lil' food plate that was available downstairs ... it went down well, and we were simply lovin' da beef pies!! Yummy! A small beachwear show interrupted the jam session for approximately 20 minutes, but the crowd was a good sport and showed some love. However, in no time, it was about 4pm when the boat was back at the docks much to everyone's disappointment. But a good time was had by all ... Adrenaline was certainly in the air!! Fire bun for all those that allowed the weather to hold them back - this boat cruise was ah bess lime from start to finish! Much props to the Adrenaline Crew - Kaele, Colin & Nicholas - vibes were sweet! Look out for your next shot of Adrenaline coming soon next month! TRW reppin for the TJJ Fam. |
