Well folks, Team TJJ NY has finally found the ultimate hot spot in money making Manhattan for the West Indians who don't want the typical Hip Hop or Techno scene. Aura is located at 5 East 19th Street between 5th Avenue and Broadway in the Flatiron district, Downtown NYC. If you are feeling for a lil' lime after work and don't care much about what time you get home, head straight for Vice Thursdays at Aura.

Trust us, it's a good time as we have tested it thru and thru from 2007 summer. Shorblu Events (Sean, Curtis and Dre a.k.a. DreDoGG) ... we have to give you guys all the props!!! Allyuh win!!! I have been to quite a few after work Caribbean nights in Manhattan and have never actually had a good time or wanted to revisit. You guys must be tired of seeing me!!! Hee hee.

Hear nah man, the vibe is just right. If you are an early bird like myself, not to worry, just make a bee line for the bar. You'll get service with a smile. If you like freebies, there are always lovely ladies promoting something fabulous to satisfy your thirst for getting a lil' bit tipsy. If you come with your belly in your hand ... tasty appetizers are available for you to order.

Okay, down to business... wining business! Resident Vice DJ's "The Party Rocker" Back to Basics and Sounds 4 Life will make you forget that you are still in your work suit and you still have a report due bright and early Friday morning! I have witnessed ladies clean fling off shoes and mount the backs of the couches in the booths... an is only waist!!! It's such a great time, that folks are lining up to celebrate their birthdays. Don't worry, there is plenty of room so if you feel crowded, you can always check out the lower level.

Hey and, you never know who might stop by. In September, Soca artist Bomani ripped it up and Vincy's Problem Child had the crowd proving that there were 'party animals' present in the month of December!
