Well after denying Carnival Nationz, two time Caribana title winners a "3peat" in this year in Toronto's 40th Caribana celebration it seemed only fitting to have an appreciation party for this new & winning band. With an invitation stating "semi-formal" attire, you know Jamaal & associates were going to buss out in style.
TJJ arrived around 11:30pm and the party was just getting into full swing. Revellers were dressed in their finest enjoying the strawberries and chocolate fountain, whereas many were gathered at the bar ready to celebrate. As the evening progressed a performance by Toronto's own Ms Alisha took place, followed by a dance performance from Afisha (a local dance from Trinidad).
Due to other previous engagements we were not able to stay for the entire evening. Congratulations to all the members of the Toronto Revellers mas camp. We look forward to seeing you on the road next year. We ready!
