For weeks everybody talkin' bout this new Strictly Soca fete presented by the Party People. Trini Jungle Juice arrived on the scene around 1:30 am. Parking was a little tricky, because the venue is Downtown Miami, but valet service was available for only $10 dollars.

This fete was held at IL Castello, commonly called the "Soca Castle" by soca promoters. It's a beautiful venue, that has a castle like appearance on the outside. At the entrance, the lines to get inside kept flowing with no worries, and we were warmly greeted by the Party People committee. The music theme of "new soca, old soca and bank in times soca" was certainly not underestimated, with legendary DJ's like House Arrest, Eternal Vibes, Dorenzo and Sound Rev on the inside. For Strictly Soca's first night, it was very eventful with a large turnout - especially with the 2-4-1 drinks b4 midnight and 18 & over to party policy.

So South Fl, from now, on every 3rd Saturday of the month you can look forward to Strictly Soca.
