All day I was looking forward for this party, and I got there at 1:00am - which is a record break for me! The 94th Aero Squadron is an amazing venue, over looking the runway of the Miami International Airport. As usual, there were no problems finding parking.
Inside the venue resembles a French farmhouse full of military memorabilia, farm tools and old planes from back in the World War 1 era which creates a tranquil ambiance.
If you see people inside and outside... the place was ram. Inside was a place you can sit, relax and socialize while enjoying the bar and hors d'oeuvres buffet. That's my spot especially after a hard day at work. The outside is another story; especially with a DJ like Richie D in the house. People outside were dancing, jumping and waving. Every time you turn around the servers were squeezing their way through the thick crowd with an hors d'oeuvres platter, which gave this party a touch of class.
One thing TJJ particularly loves about this event, is that its a melting pot of all Caribbean people coming together and doing what we do best... fete til mornin!!
