Ok.... Young Simmo checking back in.... the TJJ.com family doesn't only hit the “big parties”, so you never quite know where we will show up next. A few nights ago I hit the newest club in the country Space La Nouba (La Nouba is French for “to Party or to Live it up”) to chill with some friends vacationing from the U.S. Nestled nicely in the southland; Space is relatively easily to find even if you are from the northern part of the Trini solar system. Head straight down the highway past the now defunct “Platinum” and “Sting” and make a left at the traffic lights (Gulf City is to the right) and you’re practically there.

“Neutral Zone Wednesday” must be alien for “Free drinks on a Wednesday” as I was beamed up to the other side. Female life forms and tourists with Alien ID were free before 11pm, so the party was juiced up from early. There was no ridiculously long line as customary with other clubs or menacing scrutinizing process for I.D. and dress code.

At Space they must be commended for paying attention to detail.... from the spaceship design of the club, to the “Star Trek” outfits worn by the security and staff, to the “spacey” alien ambience inside it all makes for an out of this world experience. For all those who are turned off by cheap liquor at a free drinks bar, Space is the place for you!! No draft beer here earthlings, and no cheap scotch either.... Carib, Stag, Heineken and Carlsberg (check out the Carlsberg Ladies) and Black & White Scotch were flowing (check the V.I.P. for Uncle Johnnie) with enough cocktails to keep the ladies happy (and slightly tipsy lol).

Not only was it easy to get thru at the bar but I was presently surprised to be served with finger foods by waiters at various times during the night. The house Dj’s did their thing and had the good vibes going whole night. We were treated to all types of music as we travelled light years from Soca to Dancehall to Techno right back to Hip Hop with some Old School blended in.

But enough about the place, let’s talk about the people. The women were sexxxy as ever (you can really spot a Trini girl anywhere in the galaxy), and getting a wine with a total stranger wasn't a problem (or was it just me?? lol). I partied like a Martian till after 3 o’clock, then decided to head back to Mother Earth.
