Seeing that everyone head hot with Carnival 2K7, Trini Jungle Juice decided to switch things up ah lil' and take it some Reggae vibes cause every now an den we does need to connect with Jah to give thanks & praise. This rounds it was Renegade Squad's Reggae Café ~ For the Elegant & Sophisticated held downtown at the Drink Night Club (Guverment Complex). Now we have to admit this was not the best night to have "hot foot" seeing that the weather was beyond cold (-10 or some crazy thing so) with some freezing rain to add to the mix, but we all know that when you that haunted ain't nuttin could keep yuh home.

TJJ arrived on the scene minutes after midnight and well it was quite obvious that the weather was going to determine the outcome of this lime. Despite the slow trickle of the crowd coming in, it didn't stop Renegade Squad doing from what they do best and it was simply serving it up on the one's & two's. With some sweet Oldies wettin' your appetite before moving on to the main course of Lover's Rock which consisted of some Beres, Richie Stephens and many more.... whoooweeee we were luvin it! It was the vibe that made you want to grab on to yuh partner and take ah slow wine. LOL... As the night moved along Black Reaction (Canadian World Clash Champions) took to the turntables and burned up the place with the dancehall, RnB & throw back classics. By then although not packed the party was in full swing ~ drinks were flowing, "incense" burning ~ everything Irie! LOL...

With a belly full of vibes, Reggae Café turned out to be a good lime and TJJ rolled out around 2:30am. Many thanks to Renegade Squad and the rest of the crew for allowing us to pass through. T-DOT massive, look out for the next Reggae Café session February 23rd 2007.
