TJJ in de fete around 12:45 am (early or so we thought). The place was already ram, so we thought great turn out. By the time it took to get your drink on at the overcrowded bar, you could barely move!!! These folks were serious about their fetting. Some of the ladies including yours truly, donned the blinking horns that were distributed upon entry. Whoo hoo.... sexy devils!! It's always more fun to participate in the lil extras the promoters provide.

Everyone seemed to be in a Soca trance. It was only pace! At one point you literally had to jump along with the crowd just to get by!! LOL!! Real mas!! Just when you would think the fete was at its peak, in came Dem Boys Rhythm Section and soon after Moko Jumbies stormed the place!! Yes ah said Moko Jumbies!! I don't have to tell you all what song was playing and the crowd's reaction, do I? DJ's Dr. Wax and Close Connection mashing up with an unending string of Soca!!! From oldies to goodies and back again without repetition! Yes you'd better believe! Brooklyn fetes gone to a new level!

The fete went way past NYPD curfew, which is a rare phenomenon these days. They always want to shut down a fete early o'clock. Pssst... officer doh worry, we were on our best behavior. No double parking or liming outside the venue. ;-) Thanks for not bussing us up.

Finally, at around 6 am, the party was over, a great time was had by all. Patrons received goody bags filled with black cake, lotions and gels etc. Nice touch. TJJ would definitely be repeat offenders, so ammm.... when is the next session? Special thanks to Sokalypso.
