Saturday night around eleven o'clock, de haunting, screeching, and howling sounds could be heard from Club Screamers.

As we approached the door, we were succumb by cobwebs, spiders, ghouls, shadows and ghosts. I looked to meh side and the bartender was in a heavy trans. As I walked through the terror loud and frantic screaming, yelling, and rage in de faces was frightened, but as I stared far away and walked there was a light and sheer drapery. The crowd moving slowly to the beat of the music... whispers of "Jumbie" by Machel Montano.

The theme red and black. The ladies dress as countess and devils with a vindictive nature, and dominatrix eyes. The men with gothic demour and dark ambition. Amongst the ghoulish crowd a few individuals bask in their innocence garbed as rainbow bright, and characters resembling the thoughts of lions, tigers, and bears.... OH MY!!!

As the time passed, the presence of Jumbie filled the room. DJ's Back II Back train wrecked and strobbed, DJ Dee juggle da beats, Powerline Sound HD back spun to blazin' rhythmic tracks and pulsating bass to "Pressure Boom" by Ricky T. da turntables smokin'. A! Yeah man, much props to DJ Dougla and Powerline Sound HD and family for gracefully welcoming TJJ in da house.

The hypnotic crowd rotating their hips exotically to the beats of Chutney. The intoxicating sounds of Soca had da "Party Animal's" by Problem Child jumpin' with excitement and vibration. While the Reggae provided tranquility around the misty room.

As the hour weighed upon us the countess, vampire, and sheriff, costumes needed to vanish back in their coffins, caves, and closets. The Jingay was fainting slowly, and the whispers of Jumbie were fading...

Sultry Gyul for the TJJ fam.
