Well it's that time already. The weather started changing, from rainy and cold, to just rainy... and sometimes cold. Yes, summer is supposedly here and we start to think about Notting Hill Carnival. PoisonUK (PUK) too, began their countdown by kicking things off with the Next Level Launch. Instead of the usual venues of Masque Bar or SE One, this was down at the Wax Bar in Central London, but familiar to us at TJJ all the same.

When I rolled in with the TJJ crew (yuh know how we do it), we were followed by a sweet group of girls (again, yuh know how we do it). This was promising, but we were wondering if they knew this was a Trini party, as apparently some people who were there earlier were a bit confused. But very soon we stopped wondering when they had shoes off and wining down low and then we were thinking other things.

In usual fashion, the party filled up late on and the jamming started. Then the PUK models came out displaying the costumes for Notting Hill 2007, and we didn't mind that they paraded through the whole crowd to make sure people around the corner didn't miss out.

We were also reminded by Wendell (PUK) about their upcoming events, including Rotterdam Carnival and the Machel Montano HD Concert, which no doubt you would be hearing about. So until then, TJJ UK Team out for now.
