Fetealotathon® Day 6. "Dem a go tired fe see we face, can't get we out the race..." Today is a three event day. After doing three yesterday, this will be easy stuff :-) First stop Mug Fest TnT @ Tsunami, yuh know d spot man, down by The Anchorage. Though this event isn't new, it's the inaugural Trinidad jump off, so lewwe go in a see what's on and popin'.

After a short delay at the door, we on the inside. Yuh know the routine by now, first stop is always d bar, why should today be any different? :-) Ah man ever invite yuh tuh he house and when yuh reach, is because d man tell you the only way you can get a drink is if you have a mug. Well boy, mouth dry now. So we scope the action a bit, check out the vibes of the fete, and chat to a few folks to see how they feel about the event. Mouth still dry, so we decide is time to go and acquire a mug so we can partake in the libations. Doh let the #1 Global Caribbean website ting fool yuh, we like tuh lime like lime now come out :-) Yuh believe we still ent get mugs yet! Sad thing is we have mugs home from previous Mug Fest events in NYC. Like we shudda walk with them... next year yes. Gotta shout out the bar supervisor Albino, for taking care of us by the bar, wasn't for you buddy we might have died of thirst in this one yes :-)

The event was billed as a Drinks Inclusive event but there were complimentary cutters there as well.... corn soup, geera pork, doubles and bake and shark. The event featured lots of the NYC crew, and the tunes were provided by Anonymous, Cin, Nuwave and Back to Basics. This fete could potentially become a Carnival staple. It runs form 2PM to 10PM and its only a mile or two from "Bacchanal Wednesday" so you can definitely steal a page from the Fetealotathon® books and do both! Thanks for inviting us Mug Fest crew, next year we'll remember to walk with out mugs! We headin' around d corner now to Event #3 "Bacchanal Wednesday". Oh, let's see how Team TJJ made out at Event #2 "S.O.S (Soca On Soul Beach)".
