So who would have thought of having a concert at More Vino? I don't know, especially since the venue really isn't fitting for such an event. Now since this nite was for the high rollers to sit down, eat, drink, socialize and take in some live entertainment.... I actually thought the concept was tight!
When TJJ popped up at More Vino, Surgeon Generals had already started their performance. The stage set up was actually spacious enough for the number of people there. After their performance, there was a lull for the preparation of next local band Orange Sky. Everyone mingled around sipping on wine and champagne.
As Orange Sky kicked their set off, a Spanish acoustic guitar with a steelpan took over the drunkenness of people while they tuned into the melody of the band. I could safely say that the crowd was surprisingly pleased with the way More Vino held the acoustics of both bands.
I didn't stick around to see things to the end cause the "Summer Cooler Party" was the next stop on the night for TJJ. Places to go, people to see! That's another story to tell to meh kids one good ole day...
