It was the last day of 2007 and the first day of 2008, so True and his crew decide to let the Atlanta massive 'mingle' as the old merged into the new. All black and the house was pack to the brim with pretty females and ready to go males. Everybody was wailing and grooving to the sweet soca, raga and dancehall big tunes of 2007, before the sound system blasted the new big jams coming out for 2k8.
What better way to bring in the new year than to have all the DJs playing their favorites selections that are also crowd pleasers. Black Chiney, making the trek from South Florida had the woman dem running from side to side screaming for more. No stopping the yardie Chiney dem, yes!
For everyone who didn't make this dance, well yuh missed the close out session by DJ Stephen and Shane of Black Talon in ah wicked combo that had all partygoers on the dance floor - not a man or woman was sitting down! It was hit after hit, boom tune after boom tune as they ran both new and old soca. The place was hot, and no one wanted to leave till 5-O reach and say it was a rap cause de sun coming up and de jam hadda stop.
Big up to the Krushmore crew. All the best for 2008 and beyond from TJJ. May we all find the grooves we need to make the happiness we seek. I'll like to say nuff thanks for all the luv you've shown us at your events, and look forward to bigger & better things in the future.
