As we drove down to Chaguaramas about 9pm, there where some MAI-TAI signs to point us in the direction so we wouldn't get lost. Taking that first right after the Savannah down that lonely, low lighted stretch, reaching the parking lot and coming out the car with our cooler (ohh yes it was a cooler dance, yuh know how that does go! Love when those happen and it's not Carnival), we got through the first gate and had to jump in a mini van shuttle that was driven by the good folks of Arrive Alive. Thanks!!

So as we left Babylon and made our way to Zion, down a dark stretch suddenly it came to us that we went to a couple parties at this venue already thrown by Akim Chow and A.W.O.L Productions (A.W.O.L "Ah Lime Without Limits" 2007) . Needless to say, it was aesthetically appealing with lighted long bamboo patches reaching high up. Getting out of the mini van to the 2nd entrance we were greeted by staff in Hawaiian shirts, then on the inside (finally) were given luau leis by some Hula girls. Nice.

Thinking that the music sweet, the people sweet, and the liquor sweet, we thought that would be the climax of our night. No!!! They decided to have these Hula girls pull out a limbo bar and have everyone participate. Yes,Yes TJJ did join in the fun.... and did it before they light that limbo bar on fyyyaaaah. Hehe. Hot Hot Hot!!! 2 thumbs up and 2 big toes up for Dominique, girl yuh shoulder shattered and in cast and you out do everybody in limbo, yes! We were very much impressed. The tassa drums were crazy and even people who perform in different bands where using them. After a couple of hours with yuh cooler, one could feel the rhythm and the wildness dramatically.

After the Black Label rum, some beers, scotch and those MAI-TAI shots around the house, the stage was waiting for any takers.... so the Engineer and I danced to ABBA's "Dancing Queen" in our 'drunking fun-ness' on the stage.

Leaving this party was just as much fun since nobody really wanted to wait for the shuttles, everyone started to walk down the non lit road. But it didn't matter cause the drivers were efficient, picking folks up as soon as they met them on the road. Although carded to end at midnight, the dance really done about 1 in the morning.

Jules & Hoppie, thanks for ah great time! It was the bomb!!
