Fete after fete after fete! The TJJ team was still hyped up after the 1st Machel Montano HD & Friends Concert at MSG and so it was time to head over to Rebel NYC for The Official After Party. Walking out of MSG...... wheeey, if you see people!! The line was crawling from the entrance, around the building and continuing down the block with patrons anxiously waiting to see the 2nd sold out show! We linked up with some of our peeps outside who were on line and then kept it moving.... aye, it's winter and we doh play with de cold! We walked just a few short blocks and arrived at Rebel NYC only to find a next long line of partygoers ready to keep the party going.

The club had a mysterious feel to it upon entering after climbing what seemed to be an extra long staircase and walking through some short dimly lit hallways. Finally after a quick frisk from the security, we were in!! Fete in full swing!! Both levels were rammed to capacity!!! We could barely maneuver through the crowd. The atmosphere was very vibrant and the people were just loving themselves as they were jamming to a nice blend of Soca, Dancehall Hip Hop and RnB. Of course you couldn't get enough of Machel's tunes thanks to the all-star line of DJs.... Natural Freaks, Foreign Bass, DJ Spice, Crazy Beenie, GB: God Bless and Conquest Intl. At one point, we swear the chandeliers were going to fall off the ceilings, fuss the music banging!

People behind the velvet ropes in VIP were popping champagne while not missing a beat of the wining. The only element missing was the man himself. Unless he was going to be outta body, there was no way Machel could be in two places at once. It's all good though, everyone had a time!
