It turned out to be a great afternoon since the island had been experiencing some extreme weather conditions over the passed couple days. Well the cruise started late as usual, because you know how Trini's love being late, and yuh know they gotta talk to every single person they know before they get on the boat. While standing outside for a bit we saw some friends and a couple local celebrities. Everyone was pretty excited to get on board the Treasure Queen, seeing that it was some peoples first time attending a party of this nature. As more and more people started parking and liming outside of the boarding area, the Captain made announcements urging patrons to begin boarding. That felt like an eternity because of the huge turn out. Soon enough the TJJ crew thought it wise to board ship and well begin to work ... lolzz ... yea right!! Some folks as they always do, asked us, How ya cud call that work??!! Humm... we wander ;-) As the DJ began hyping up the crowd with one of the hottest song's for the 2007/2008 Carnival season, "Pressure Boom" by Ricky T outta St. Lucia, everyone began wukkin up there waist and get giggy on the boat as we sailed around the island's coastline. During which time we took some great pics, and had a couple drinks with some hot girls we bounce up in Zen a week ago (and they say this job easy). After about sailing for an hour we moved up to the top deck for a little more air and also from that hard core wining sessions on the lower two decks. But my break didn't last long, because a set of people apparently was thinking the same thing I was about finding more room on board. So a hard core wining session soon started up on the top deck too. We saw some smallies wining low, low ... low! It was only who bubbling like soup, who hot wukkin' and who balancin' pon it! It even had a conga line moving around on all 3 levels of the boat as well. Then came the passa passa styles like "Room Ram", "Tek Wey Yuhself", "Raging Bull", "Frog Back" and all the girls favourites like "Chat to Meh Back", "Hot Wuk" and "Hula Hoop". All in all, it was a great cruise. Can't wait for de next one. So to all Trini Jungle Juice family and supporters have a bright and prosperous 2008. Kevin for the TJJ fam |
