So they said this was de last week of Summer and as of 5am this morning we've officially entered Fall... yuh know what that means? Cold weather in we backside lol! Tonight was ah lil' bit chilly, but did that stop de Soca lovers from coming out and having ah good time?? Ah mean everyone who loves Soca and came out tonight, feels it in dey blood and dey veins!! When they havin' ah bad day, Soca cheers them up!! Or when they wake up every morning they play ah big Soca chune or listen to it on their way to work!! If yuh is one of my fellow Soca lovers that live by de SOCA BIBLE, yuh musta been at Palazzo Nightclub for de official I LOVE SOCA fete!!

De fete was free before 11pm, so rhel people reach before that. Ah musta bounce in de party just after 11pm and de upstairs room was jam packed... when ah tell yuh people boy!!! Soca is ah big part ah we everyday life so yuh could only imagine how many people came out to represent. Ah ketch ah vibe as soon as ah reach upstairs but with de amount ah people it had in there and wid de party being sooo nice they had to move everyone from de upstairs room to de main room (with no complications ah will add). Now when ah walked down de stairs into de main room, ah went into ah lil' shock... ah couldn't believe de amount ah people it had in there!! Ah wanted to know "whey de a$$" they came from??!! lol ... but serious talk ... inside Palazzo was looking rhel nice, no scanty scanty business at'tall!!! All ah could see was rhel people with different colour flags flyin' high from all different islands, all here to represent their love for Soca!

Now of course this was a KOS party, so yuh already know de doctor was in de house, Dr. Jay alongside the KOs family, Soca Sweetness and marXman and keeping us on our toes were E Man and Dirty Dez... de music was sweeeeet! We had de pleasure of hearing endless Soca with that special touch of reggae ~ who could go wrong? De real Soca lovers would NEVER complain that there's too much Soca (because there's no such thing)! Now ah ain't get to de most interesting part yet.... ah limin with my drink takin' ah lil' wine and out ah nowhere who do I see?!!! De original "Party Animal".... YES ladies and gentlemen, de one and only Problem Child live and direct from St Vincent. When ah tell yuh craziness dred... nobody had ah clue an artist was present so yuh could imagine how de crowd reacted ~ singing word for word like back-up singers to him!!! Ah telling yuh, ah think even Problem Child ketch himself in ah state ah shock... haha!! It was indeed ah BESS surprise though... no complaints there!!!!!!

After de performance, Soca Sweetness mashed up de dance with rhel big tunes one after de other. He played Machel Montano's "Jumbie" and then tuned it down with Patrice Robert's "Assume The Position (Wukkin Up)" . Now after de last song was played for de night he had to wheel up the 2007 Vincy Road March "Party Animal" because de crowd kept beggin' for more. Ah mean even after de music stop de crowd still singing "no sleep at'tall!!!" It was ah rhel time for de Soca lovers... we officially see that Soca is most definitely in a lot of we veins.... A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again to the KOS family for letting TJJ share another great experience with them. We officially ended off de Soca Summer on ah WICKED NOTE!!!! See everyone in November at SOCA OR DIE! Yuh think they ready tuh wukup???!!!
