Arriving on the scene a little after midnight, we stepped through the Dragon’s mouth and entered the dance. On the inside we were warmly greeted and also given food chits, which enabled us to a serving of the various Chinese delicacies available on the night. There was Chinese style chicken and pork, fried wantons and even spring rolls to choose from.
Well before we even reach the food section, we grabbed ourselves a couple of the complimentary drinks and chilled a bit. Tonight’s specials being Hennessy, Vodka and Malibu. Oh.... we must make special mention of the sexy girls decked off in their Chinese attire. They surely showed us VIP treatment. Much luv ;-) The ambiance of the night was quite nice. The venue was well decorated to suit the set theme. However, the size of the venue was a negative on the night.... it needed to be a bit smaller. Patrons were too far spread apart and as such, it was a bit difficult to create and set the desired party mood.
The DJs carded to play all took their turns on the 1’s and 2’s encouraging some folks to shake a leg or two to the selections played. Yes folks, not a bad night out. The only thing really needed to make it great was a better overall attendance. That is an uncertainty that comes with the business, a risk that all promoters take.
