So we on d move again ... why Trini's like to party so much is a mystery that may never be solved but we at TJJ not complaining at all. It's Halloween weekend in our Twin Island Paradise and the parties coming thick and fast. We caught wind of a Halloween Party at Club Senses on Friday, so that was my primary objective for the night.

I figured around midnight was a kool time 2 pass thru and do my thing so I made an early detour to Woodford Café. The lime was nice and good vibes were flowing, so much so that I wasn't noticing how quick the night was passing me by!!! With both hands on my watch pointing to the twelve, ah realised I was running late and made my way over to Club Senses at the Royal Palm Hotel in Maraval. Parking in the hotel lot was non-existent so we parked in the adjacent lot and made our way to the party.

After chitchatting with the door staff we stepped in the dance and were met with a most pleasant surprise... FREE DRINKS!!! I made a pass by the bar and after a little hustle and bustle I filled my tank up... with orange juice... and started working the crowd.

Halloween brought the creativity out of a number of patrons as they took the opportunity to step out in costume. Some of the sexier female costumes were Playboy Bunnies, Clowns, French Maids, Catholic School Girls and 2 “Soulja Girls” (photo). Also present were The Grim Reaper, ah bare back Superman (photo), a Construction Worker and a self proclaimed “Street Pharmacist”. On a lighter note we were also joined by 2 Cookie Monsters and Elmo (photo) straight from Sesame Street.

Around 2 a.m. there was a mini competition judging the sexiest lady in costume and after a mixed audience reaction, Olivia, in the red costume was given the title. However, instead of receiving a crown and flowers she was instructed by the DJ to do the “Hot Wuk” and both her and her competitors happily obliged 2 the pleasure of the crowd.

The party swung to and fro from dancehall to hip hop and techno but the soca sessions were the real gems of the night as the sweat poured and calories were burnt off in gym type fashion.

Sadly the party started to wind down shortly after 3 a.m. but some people just couldn't get enough of the fun and flexed til the last song. On our way out we actually saw a guy who seemed to have partied ah bit too hard as he took a rest on the floor propped up against a wall (photo)... doh sleep when the TJJ cameras are out ... lol.

The party was great fun and we made a prompt exit cuz Saturday night promised more pace. We have to get some rest or else our Red Eyes would be Wide Shut.... yes, it's RED Eyes Wide Shut OCTOBER tomorrow peoples!

Young Simmo Out!!!
