As the weather starts to get warmer you will start to see the mice come out to play... and TJJ was ready to play on Saturday April 21st at the Ramada Hotel in Scarborough!! We arrived at 11:30pm but didn't actually go in the fete til about 12am cuz we were liming in de parking lot with SOCA United (soccer team).
When we got on the inside, the dance was not ram, which was ah cool vibe. While we maneuvered our way through the crowd taking pics, Soca Vibes and D'Bandit was mashin up the turntables. Colin was playing some sweet Soca chunes from the oldies to the new stuff. With drinks waiting to quench our thirst (special thanks to IslandVybz who always take care of TJJ) and "ONE MORE TIMEEEEEEEEE... ONE MORE WINEEEEE" by Machel playing, who could ask for a better way to start de fete? Play chune Mr. DJ, play chune!
About 30 mins past and the crowd was growing, and by the time we looked around the room, the vibe was getting sweeter and sweeter. D'Bandit had to represent by spinning some ol skool and house music that made the children from the 80's and earlier boogey woogey... all we had to hear was "TO THE BEAT OF THE RHYTHM OF THE NIGHT.... DANCE UNTIL THE MORNING LIGHTTTTTTT by El Debarge and we couldn't stop dancing til we sweat, yes!!! Drinks on and nice music was all this mature crowd was looking for without having to go thru the bumping and pushing at most rammed up fetes.
Once again, IslandVybz pulled thru with nice vibes. TJJ rolled out around 3am as the fete was starting to wind down but we didn't quite leave the parking lot.... heehee ... we love to lime!!
